Used Vehicle Inspection

There’s nothing like that new car smell, but it’s an expensive perfume.  A used car is a much smarter purchase, providing you buy wisely.  It’s not that sellers are dishonest – in fact very few are – but after a few years use, problems may be developing that the current owner isn’t aware of.

An independent inspection will uncover these issues.  It also reveals any hidden defects, problems the seller doesn’t want you knowing about and any signs of accident or flood damage. Once armed with this knowledge, you, the buyer, can make an informed decision. Perhaps you’ll walk away, maybe you’ll negotiate a lower price, or perhaps, knowing that you’ve found a gem, you’ll do the deal quickly.

At FrankLynn Automotive we take pride in the thoroughness of our used vehicle inspections. When you bring a car to us it gets far more than a cursory inspection. One of our experienced technicians will go through it from bumper to bumper. They look for signs of damage, neglect and overdue maintenance. They note any wear items that will soon need replacing and identify anything that isn’t working as it should.

On completion you receive a report describing what was found. This includes a prioritized list of any work needed, and an estimate of how much life is left in the vehicle.

Many car buyers find a used vehicle inspection from FrankLynn Automotive a worthwhile investment. It takes out the risk in buying a used car and allows more informed decision-making.  Sometimes it helps with price negotiation, but most importantly, it provides peace of mind.

If you’re used car shopping and think you’ve found one you like, bring it us for an independent inspection. We’ll run an expert eye over it and help you make the right decision.
